James D. Miller (Jim) is a CPA who represents individual tax filers and small to mid-size business owners. Our primary services are tax preparation, tax dispute representation, and consulting. I also offer mortgage purchase and refinance services as a separate line of work through National Residential Mortgage. Please see our discussion of these services on the tab from the home page.
We specialize in helping small business owners form and setup their business entities. We also work with E2 immigration clients in getting established in the US.
We work with clients in most states in the country and some offshore. We also have offices in Los Angeles and San Diego to serve local clients there.
Jim is a native of California growing up in Simi Valley, CA, going to college at Cal State University Northridge and obtaining a Master’s Degree in Tax from University of Southern California. Jim has worked in National firms as a Tax Supervisor in downtown Los Angeles and San Diego. Jim has been in the tax industry since 1988 and has been in public practice since 1993.
In a word, Jim and his team offer large firm experience with a local firm price. Jim has served clients as diverse as Tudor Saliba Construction, Sierracin Corporation (aerospace manufacturer), Hanson Realty (Brokerage), and literally thousands of individuals and small business owners.
Jim who works primarily with clients who are comfortable using technology. Where online contact is the primary means of getting things accomplished. Face to face meetings in the beginning are always needed and on occasion when called for. However, in an effort to keep fees down Jim uses the efficiency of the many IRS and state online tools to run his practice 90% on an online basis.
